My mother gave me a (children's) book called On Purim by Cathy Goldberg Fishman and illustrated by Melanie W. Hall. The book tells about hamantashen and that they are the same shape as the hat Haman wore and gobbling them up is another way of blotting out his name. . . It tells about shalach manot, tzedakah, and the fun grogger (handheld noisemaker), and the Megillah. Chag sameach! Happy holiday!
