Ed gave me an iBook today ('happy birthday 4 months early' - in keeping with the birthday thing here on the blog). *We have 5 computers (4 apples and 1 Dell laptop) in this house - all are used every day (or close to that). Ed already talks about 'needing' to have a computer for our daughter. When I asked him if he thought she would be out of diapers before she used a computer, he responded (with an incredulous laugh), 'I doubt it'. . . .*Ed would love to live in a computer store (specifially an apple store) and it's looking more promising for that around here than ever these days. . . .

I am steeling myself against and ibook or I'd never put it down. I can be your neighbor in the apple store ;0)
I am SOOOO extremely jealous over your iBook! I am coveting my blogging neighbor right now! LOL
Cool beans! Congratulations on your new toy!
Oh and look! One of them has its own pillow! You sure do treat your computers well.
c.j. - I don't know all the different kinds of iBooks, but I like this one. It only weighs about 3-4 pounds and right now (before we know much about packing for that trip) we think we'll take it to China with us. . . .
wendy - I didn't know that I would like it this much; but it's nice to be mobile with your e-mail. ;-)
samantha - thanks! I will have fun - but not as much as you I am sure!!
cs - you may know, these things are definitely 'lap warmers' - which I like but Ed pads his to keep cool . . . .
I guess a household can never have too many computers! Sounds great to be able to bring one with you when you travel to China!
monica - yes, I've enjoyed the iBook; but if you can believe it (I'm not hardly right now), I'm having trouble with it already!
