Today we went to the Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge. The weather was great to be out in - windy (I love wind)! Around a couple of the water areas the were many frogs making their noises. Other than that it was the birds, a few geese and the sound of the wind! A very good way to spend a (wedding) anniversary!
This evening we ate out (Soho Cafe - there was a couple with their daughter from China; I love seeing that) and then went to a performance at the University of a visiting troupe from Sichuan University in western China. It was the Southwest China Traditional Music and Dance Performance. Very good. My favorite part was the Bianlian (Face Changing) of Sichuan Opera Dance. I’d never seen such a dance! The whole troupe of dancers made use of movement and color so beautifully!
