We purchased our airline tickets today!!!
I can hardly believe this is really, finally, happening (except that we have so much stuff now to pack up)!
(*I'm laughing) Ed didn't know what a 'lap ticket' was (for Lauren). I told him I am quite sure that means a ticket to sit on one of our laps. He wasn't sure why we should have to pay for that . . . but I can guess why.**
*I'm not such a smarty pants after all.
**Actually, my guess was wrong. Our friend (who has 3 daughters from Vietnam), told me that, "a lap ticket is for the baby and is usually a percentage of the parent ticket. They do that so that they keep track of passengers and make sure there is enough O2 for everyone. She and her friend could not sit together because they had TWO lap babies (between the 2 of them) and there was not enough O2. So that's why they make a big deal about the babies."
