first friday in China

Today we were taken to Walmart to get more supplies (bottled water - a lot of it since we have to use it for everything; loads of diapers because we don't know when we'll get to a store to get more until we leave; formula, etc.). The Walmart here is so different from those in the USA. This one is monstrous! There were these escalators that you take your grocery cart onto - the wheels lock-in to the escalator ramp thing. Wild times. It was very crowded - like at Christmas time in the USA...

Two dads and 2 baby girls. Ed and Lauren and Matthew and Faith. There are two dads that travelled solo to get their daughters (their mom's stayed home with other children). Matthew is one of those dads! He says he wants 10 kids (Faith is their 4th) 'but my wife said we stop at 5.'

She loves this little lamb blanket that we sent in her care package. She has to have it when she has her bottle.
