A lot of bamboo and palm trees - very tropical.
They do graffiti on trees here too!
By the end of our visit, Lauren was melting (pouring sweat - as were we)!
But she still has a smile for me! I love, love, love when she crinkles up her nose when she smiles!!
It's a pretty zoo.
One lone(ly) panda - laying on her block of ice.
This little boy is 18 months old and they wanted their photo with us (so we took one with them)!
These remind me of some kind of orchid - they were all over the walls in the zoo.

We would have liked to strip down and join in to cool off!!
These children were in the goldfish exhibit area. This little pool has tiny goldfish in it and the children were in the pool with bowls scooping water (and otherwise harassing the tiny goldfish, I guess) and having a great time. One way for them to cool off on such a steamy, hot day!
Lauren loves to watch people and see what's happening. She's a very intent, curious baby.
