[I finished the hat.] Colorful - I like pink and orange together! For awhile I thought I would take all these little hats that I've knitted to donate to an orphanage in China. Then I thought I didn't have 'enough' of them to donate (?). So I decided to give them to the other mothers I know that are adopting a baby from China.I saw Randy and Julia at church today and talked to them. Ironically, last night Leo e-mailed me a photo (with a friend of his who is now in the states) of them in Virginia. They just got back to this area on Thursday. They plan to return to China in September ~ we'll see.

YOur gifts and thoughtfulness will touch whomever you send them to. Take pride in your accomplishments, I love the hats, each and every one of them. Heck, we're not pink people but this one is cool!
Thanks for the kind words Lisa! Unfortunately, I could not stop myself from explaining how I couldn't quite get one freakin' pink pom-pom/ball thingy on one of the hats just right when Shauna chose it...She, of course, was very gracious.
